Hogwarts Legacy offers plenty of secrets for players to discover, but few side activities match the spatial challenges of the optional puzzle rooms. Depulso Puzzle Room 2 represents a major spike in difficulty, demanding a strong grasp of physics and environment manipulation. Finding and completing this hidden trial will test your mind while rewarding you with valuable gear pieces scattered across multiple treasure containers.
Finding the Hidden Entrance
Before attempting this trial, you must first complete the main Herodiana side quest located within the Charms classroom area. Once that prerequisite is out of the way, make your way over to the Bell Tower Wing near the courtyard section. Look closely at the marble walls near a locked door to find the switch that opens the secret passageway.
Stepping inside reveals a massive chamber filled with large metallic blocks that react to your magic. Mastering your targeting angles is crucial here because one wrong pull can ruin your positioning. You can always hit the glowing golden cube on the wall to completely reset the layout if you get stuck.
Solving the First Chest Room
Your initial objective centers around moving a massive block configuration to reach a raised platform on the left wall. Start by standing on the main floor and casting Accio to pull the main multi-cube structure out from the far corner. After it shifts forward, use Depulso to slide it flush against the stone wall to create a stable base.
Next, you will need to assemble a small staircase using the remaining movable blocks nearby. Connect the smaller L-shaped blocks to the main structure by pulling them straight across the room. Once the pieces lock together, climb to the top and make a diagonal leap to reach your first reward chest.
Navigating the Second Layer Puzzles
Opening the first container shifts the layout of the chamber, presenting a completely new platforming riddle. Turn around and locate the large H-shaped block structure that is currently tucked away along the right-hand wall. Target the left side of this cluster and pull it directly out into the open path using Accio.
With the center area clear, you can now slide the tall column block to the back of the room. Move around to the opposite side to get the proper camera angle before pushing the pieces into place. This alignment opens up a clean climbing route that leads straight up to the second hidden collection box.
Reaching the Final Exit Chamber
The final puzzle requires you to construct a massive land bridge that spans across a deep gap in the floor. Pull the remaining long blocks on the north wall toward you before pushing them into the corner slots. You must act methodically to avoid accidentally crushing your own path forward during this phase.
Jump across to the small floating pillar in the middle of the room to establish a safe vantage point. From this position, summon the completed bridge piece directly to your feet to bridge the remaining distance. Scramble up the final ledge to claim the last chest piece and open the main doorway out of the gauntlet.
